Day 01 - A picture of yourself with ten facts
1. I love every aspect of cooking. The process, the ingredients, the materials, getting to work with my hands, and being able to create something that people can enjoy. If anything, its a turnoff, when people cant cook…
2. Money is nice, but relationships are better.
3. I have been succeeding with my new years resolution to go to the gym more often. I actually have exercise pains for the first time in like 3 years. LOL.
4. I have decided that summer is my favorite season, not because of the warmth, but because of the guaranteed three months of free time. =) The warmth just makes it a million times better.
5. If I could be any animal, it would be an orca “killer” whale. They are too BAMF to argue. Turtles will always be my favorite animal though.
6. I’ve realized that categorizing people my whole life has made my world a lot smaller. Perhaps seeing people as they are, and not jumping to conclusions actually helps me determine whether they are good for me or not.
7. I will be turning 20 this year, and I am utterly ecstatic! For most people in the U.S., 21 is the big one because it allows them to drink… (legally) BUT, I think that from a more worldly point of view, 20 is more important. Its more symbolic in the sense that I will no longer be a teenager, and that chapter 3 in my life will shortly be beginning. In most countries that have drinking ages, its much younger than here,(15-18 usually) and I have been lucky enough to have visited a few. It has shown me that its NOT that big of a deal, and I’m over it. I don’t need to celebrate something that I have gotten out of my system at such a younger age. It really does help with how quickly a generation can mature.
8. I am currently learning Mandarin. The more widely used of the many Chinese languages. And I AM PUMPED to go to China. Hopefully sooner than later.
9. I recently welcomed 2 of the most beautiful cats into my apartment, and I love them.
10. Last year, I’ve made less new friends than in any other year of my life, yet they are some of the most meaningful relationships I have ever had, and I am sure they will last me a very long time. As I grow just a little bit more mature, I realize that keeping relationships going is just as important as creating new ones. Sometimes more…
